Starting in the 2024 NZHL XRACE season, we will be replacing the ambassador program with a direct to schools program. This means that we will be reaching out to every primary, intermediate, and contributing school in New Zealand to invite them to participate in the XRACE schools program.

Firstly, we would like to acknowledge the work done by our ambassadors over the years - it has been our pleasure to work with New Zealand best and brightest kids.

This campaign will see our team reach out to every primary, intermediate and contributing school in New Zealand to become part of the XRACE schools’ program.

The key ingredient of the school's program is that each school nominates a school coordinator / liaison. This could be a parent, member of staff, or PTA member.

This could be you!

The benefits to schools remain the same as with the ambassadors:

• Discounted registrations
• The ability to start all school groups together in the same wave
• For larger school teams, the potential to have race packs, including shirts, transponders, and challenge cards sent directly to the school
• An invitation to bring along a marquee on the day and participate as a school community
