Important Event Information
Pre-Race Collection
- Collect your T-shirt, transponder, and challenge cards 90 minutes before your race start time.
- Note: Nippers do not receive transponders or challenge cards.
Parking
- Plan ahead and allow extra time for parking due to limited spaces and potential traffic congestion.
Nippers Race
- The Nippers race starts approximately 30 minutes before the main event, allowing parents to participate in both events.
- Check the start times above for details.
Prize Giving
- Join us for a fun and short prize-giving ceremony, featuring spot prizes and merit awards for age group winners.
- Listen to the announcer's instructions for the exact timing.
WHAT TO WEAR
Requirements
- Wear the provided XRACE t-shirt and timing chip (transponder) during the competition.
Recommended Attire
- Wear athletic clothing and closed-toed shoes.
- If it rains, arrive prepared as we'll all be getting wet!
Essential Items to Bring
- A pencil or pen to write down challenge answers (pencils work best in wet conditions).
- A small carabiner or item to keep your challenge cards together (not provided, so please bring your own).
TRANSPONDERS (Timing Chips)
Instructions Pickup and Wear
- Collect your transponder from the Transponder Pick Up table upon arrival.
- Both parent and child must wear their own transponder on their shoe (and nowhere else).
- Ensure correct wear to avoid missing a recorded time.
Finish Line Reminders
- Wear shoes when crossing the finish line to ensure your team's time is recorded.
- No shoes, no time!
Return Transponders
- Transponders are loaned to you and must be returned immediately after crossing the finish line.

- These are challenges that we announce before your race, giving teams the opportunity to:
- Learn new skills
- Have fun together
- Prepare ahead of race day
WAVE TIMES
Wave Starts and Start Times
To minimize congestion at challenges, we use wave starts for each XRACE.
Wave times will be posted on the Wednesday before your event.
Remember to:
- Note your start time
- Write it on your hand to avoid forgetting
Important Start Time Rules:
Arriving before your allocated time: No recorded time
Arriving at your allocated time: Recorded time
Arriving after your allocated time: Recorded time (but try to be on time!)
